There is NO DAY-OF Race Registration - NO EXCEPTIONS. Due to Park rules, we can not sell race entries on race day. You must register online and before midnight on Thursday May 8th to race this event. If you need a one-day license purchase it online when you register for the race. Go to SportsBaseOnline.com and log in. Select your category, select who you are registering (myself, friend or team) and click continue. Then click "add another category" and select "USAC-Road One Day License" at the bottom of the page and complete the checkout. |

Packet Pick Up: |
New this year, we will have our Packet Pick up at the Park Administration Offices parking lot, first left after the guard station as you enter the Park. See map below for details. Packet pick up opens at 5:30AM and closes promptly at 6:30AM. Please be sure to have your one day or annual USA Cycling license with you. |

Parking: |
There will be NO parking at the race start line. You will be ticketed/disqualified if you park there. Feel free to park at Spokes and ride over, or at the Park Administration Offices lot, just past the guard station as you enter the Park. See Map below for details. |

Course Description: |
From the base of South Mountain, (at San Juan turn off) a challenging hill climb 5.5 miles to the top of South Mountain reaching the flat circular parking lot at the top. The total elevation gain is approx. 1,000 feet. The view at the finish over looks the Foothills. The course is marked by park signs, but please preview it to not take any wrong turns. The final 200 meters will be marked in addition to the park signs. See the course map at the GMap Link. |

Bragging rights only, but we will have some great giveaways during the results presentation at Spokes (9032 S. Central Ave) immediately following the race. Enjoy the fine food and service of Spokes while you share your tales of the mountain! |

Directions: |
Click Here for an Interactive Map. : Packet pickup up will be at the Park Administration Offices parking lot but food and coffee (available for purchase) will be at Spokes (9032 S. Central Ave), 10 yards north of Dobbins on the west side of Central. The race start is at the San Juan turn off, approx 3 miles south of Spokes inside the South Mountain Park. Race Day parking is available at the Park Administrative offices, turn left, just after passing the first guard station. Race start is approx 2 miles from the Admin parking lot. There are bathroom facilities at the Park entrance and at Spokes, but not at the Race Start or Finish area, so plan ahead. |
